DIY Carpet Deodorizer Recipe
- 30 ounces Baking Soda
- 2 ounces Lavender Flowers
- 15 drops Orange Essential Oil. -(you can use lemon, or tangerine, or any combo of these)
- Shaker Jars
Put the lavender flowers in first, then 15 ounces of the baking soda into ONE of the shaker jars. Shake for about 60 seconds until you see the lavender flowers well distributed. Then add 7 drops essential oil. Shake again for another 60 seconds. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Store in a cool dry place for at least a week, and let the ingredients integrate with one another.
To use: Shake onto carpet and leave on for about 15 minutes before vacuuming. For a deeper clean, leave on over night (as long as pets won’t be running across it)
